Following six previosly organized Action Days, EUROL 4 organized the first Traffic Police Action Week, which took place from 11 to 15 May 2026. The activities were carried out across Montenegro and were closely accompanied by Dr. Johann Wagner, EUROL 4 Head of Police Component, who provided continuous operational guidance and recommendations based on on-site observations and findings. The implementation of the Action Week was supported by a detailed operational plan developed by Montenegrin Road Traffic Safety Department, ensuring coordinated execution at the national level.
In line with ongoing efforts of the Police Administration of Montenegro to improve road safety and traffic security, the campaign focused on six key areas: speed control, enforcement of seat belt use, prohibition of mobile phone use while driving, prevention of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, inspection of vehicle boots and glove compartments, and checks of technical vehicle conditions.
