Building on the successful implementation of the fast-track backlog-reduction model in the Administrative Court, EUROL 4 has extended the initiative to the misdemeanour court system.
EUROL 4 experts held meetings with the President and staff of the High Misdemeanour Court of Montenegro to assess pending cases and adapt the methodology to misdemeanour proceedings. As a next step, work has started on extending the project to the Misdemeanour Court in Podgorica, with the aim of reducing backlogs and improving procedural efficiency.
